On behalf of the Australian College of Perioperative Nurses (ACORN) we warmly welcome you to our 20th Biennial International Conference, taking place 14–16 May 2026 at the Brisbane Convetion and Exhibition Centre, Brisbane Australia.
This milestone event will bring together perioperative nurses, leaders, educators, researchers, and industry partners from across Australia and around the world to share knowledge, celebrate innovation and unite in shaping the future of perioperative practice.
Under the theme “Building Bridges: Strengthening collaborative perioperative care”, the 2026 conference will feature:

ACORN invites authors to submit abstracts and education proposals for the ACORN 2026 Conference to be held in Brisbane, Australia, from 14 to 16 May 2026. Submissions are sought for both oral and poster presentations, which must address the conference theme ‘Building Bridges: Strengthening collaborative perioperative care’. All accepted submissions will be included in the conference proceedings.
